Basically im freaking out. I came out to my car from being in the shops and both windows were down to the same point. The doors were unlocked and the seat forward. I know the seat was not forward and i know when i was driving neither windows were down as it was raining. Have i accidently done something myself or is it possible to open electric windows to open the car. Nothing was taken but its freaking me out. help :(

  1. Seat forward like for a shorter driver?  Hmm, that would mean someone was driving your car, or it's not your car! :)

Seat forward like a 2-door and someone was rooting in the back seat?  Then I can't explain it. Either you forgot you lowered the windows and a thief took that as an invitation to look for valuables in your car; or you did all of it and forgot.  Hate to call you senile... but it's conceivable that someone could unlock your car, but no way someone can roll down electric windows.  Not possible.  They don't move unless the car is turned on.

  2. You can also jimmy the windows down from outside and then unlock the doors.

  3. No, there's no "remote" that'll open your electric windows. It's not linked to any sort of a receiver. I've seen some cars that can automatically roll down windows with a certain twist of the key (some VW's) but again, they'd need a real key, not remote.

    I'd consider that a possible break-in.

  4. I cannot be done and you just probably forgot........
