How can someone send me an original text message from their cellphone so I can receive it on Yahoo Mobile?

I have a cellphone with no text messaging capability. I signed up for Yahoo SMS and text messaging service and have sent text messages via Yahoo. I have also received direct replies to my messages on the Yahoo website.

How can someone send me an original text message from their cellphone so I can receive it on Yahoo Mobile? Do they initially need to enter my Yahoo ID (or some other identifier) in order to send a message to me via Yahoo Mobile? Please respond at your earliest convenience.

They have to have the web on their phone, and then when sending it enter your email address!
