  1. Check with the Red Cross for information on water aerobic instructor courses, or check with your local YWCA. There are tons of courses out there, so make sure you pick a) a good one and b) the right one. Some pools insist that their watergym instructors have lifeguard certification before they go on to do the watergym instruction.
