How can test only stations certify a gross polluter if no repairs were done on it?

In other words, is it legal for cars that fail their smog test, or gross polluters, to get registration renewal?

  1. no its not legal but some stations do this,one thing about it though if they ever get caught doing it they will loose their state license to do smog test,i know a few that have already lost theirs over this,good luck


  2. Ugh no, some states offer a one time waiver if you've spent a certain amount of money attempting to fix it, but again, its only a one time waiver.

  3. that good thing state pay up 750 $ fill out CARB papers almost free repairs cailf. state pay most
