How can the Australian government charge you for carbon do they know how many trees are on each property??

being realistic wouldnt they have to know how many trees are on your property & tell you the total amount of carbon they offset??

  1. There will be special plots of land especially for the trees. Counting trees is easy, the hard part is knowing realistically how much carbon each tree is offsetting.


  2. Well, if you cut down the young tree then its inevitable that the Australian government would charge you for carbon because they might be exporting carbon and making lots of money from the old and matured tree.
