How can the COMMUNITY & GOVERNMENT play a role in our STUDENTS' ACADEMIC RESULT?

When it comes to student's academic results, the first thing to come to mind would usually be the the parents and the school; as they are the ones directly related to the students

However

Sometimes we forget of the society and the government

How can we justify the roles of these two parties?

It has to start in the home & stay based in the home.  the more you get the 'educated people involed' the more you will s***w up your kids life!

Probably a good example of this is the Service Learning and Volunteer programs many college campus' are embracing.  By partnering with local elementary schools to provide tutoring to the elementary schools in the area, everyone wins.  Many of the college students would be college students with the help of federal financial aid....hence the government connection.
