  1. The non waiver deadline passed. After that, is the wavier trade period. Players can passed through waivers and still be traded. When waived, other teams can claim them (based on standings), if claimed the original team can rescind the waiver and take him back, trade the player to claiming team, or release him outright to the claiming team. If the player passes without being claimed, he can be traded.


  2. The July 31st is the non-waiver trade deadline, all players traded before the real deadline of August 31st have to clear waivers before they can be traded.
