How can the government preach to us about driving less and flying less when they want to expand Heathrow?

"In November last year the government set out proposals for a major expansion at Heathrow, which could see the building of a third runway and a sixth terminal.

The new runway would be 2,200m (about 7,200ft) long and could be in operation by 2020 if it got the go-ahead."

  1. 12 years to build a runway..fugging shocking..bet they don't finish it on time


  2. the government only recently said the hoi polloi are flying to much so why expand heathrow ,if we need more airports why not use Kent international [manston aerodrome]it already has the runways all it needs are the transport links improving

  3. The widening of Heathrow is so we can get more immigrants in by bulk.
