    senses.  Therefore, it can see

    itself, analyze, and view the

    world.

  4. Self awareness is gained once man overcomes the obstacle impeding his path to the universal light. Fear, hate caused by ignorance contain man in his blinkered state unable te see or envisage the greater reality of the world and his place therein.

  5. A better form of this question would be "How can the mind know itself"

    I think that this state of the mind knowing itself can be achieved in higher states of yogic practice.

  6. The mind can see itself only indirectly, in everything around it. The whole perceived world around you is essentially just an interpretation of the mind. To look out is to look in.
