How can the moderator require postings to be cleared by the moderator?

management- under groyp settings click messages- Posting and Archives (Edit) <- click the edit- 3rd column Moderation- check either new members or members- click save changes

keep in mind this setting only affects those who join after you did this. for those previous members, you must change this individually per each member:

go to management, messages, moderate all..

Sign in to your group.

Click on Management.

In the Group Settings area, click on Messages.

Scroll down and click on Edit located to the right of Posting and Archives.

In the Moderation column, select  "Moderated".

Then click on "Save Changes" at bottom or top of page.
