How can the modern person keep his/her integrity and still achieve economic security & spiritual independence?

Spiritual independence is always your choice. Surely you can always have the courage to "go your own way".  Economic security is the more difficult challenge.

The best way to not become a corporate clone type on a planet owned and run by psychopaths is to have a talent which allows you to run your own "business".  This could include teaching art, dance, etc rather than being involved with  the dry sociopathic stuff like finance, real estate, sales., etc.

What i mean ultimately is, if you have the nerve, you could be involved with ordinary money making activities, have integrity and see how long you last in a situation which involves working with others, many of whom are brainwashed clones.  Or, go it alone, and have less/no pressure to be sociopathic in order to satisfy a *bottom line*.

The culture is becoming ever more corrupt which makes the challenge more interesting re maintaining integrity.  The fact that you have enough consciousness to even ask the question is remarkable.  I wish you the best :))

(I used to teach law,  now i teach Reiki;  i'm from the USA.  Luckily, i maintained integrity while doing and teaching law, because i was never into money, and didn't worry /care about being "fired".  I went to law school to stay out of Viet Nam, actually -- why the fu*k would i want to fight in a war designed to make the "elites" even richer and help with their population reduction agenda)
