  1. Symbols, patterns and other stimuli help keep them thinking on a very basic level. You'll be surprised how they can add by picking pictures that are balanced, or sometimes when they are in a crazy mood they'll choose images that are imbalanced just to have fun. Things that have different feelings, like smooth versus rough. Or even when they are very little toys that activate when they kick them, or other small feats that are fun. Keep em thinkin all the time, well, have some down time too, where they just chill out, but even challenging things can be fun.

  2. they always help them is any matter

  3. *** encourage good self esteem + instill the knowing thet they "can" { they may need

    further assistance + practice...} " i can't "

    can lead to just that...

*** honor their strenghts + see if they may be more auditory, kinasthetic or visual learners...

***talk to them. read to them have them see you strenghts + assist with what they

may find difficult...let them express themselves in the fine arts...

*** allow them to teach others {if they

    wish to}

*** look for the good, times you can

    complement + show their progress...

*** have them see themselves succeeding

as a basketball player sees him/her self

    making the basket.

       *** praise...love...honor...

*** there are great songs: "oops... i made

    a mistake..+ i'm beautiful"

  4. This depends upon age of child. The best answer is to become learning facilitator to child and creat an atmosphere of stability  and safety arund child. Like no child remains hungry in the same manner if proper environment is provided child will definately select and learn on its own. I strongly believe only support should come from parents  and teachers and no force.

  5. As I am of 16, so i can say that they can do it simply by encouraging them that they can do it  !!!

  6. As a parent of two exceptionally smart grown children, I believe the most important thing you can do is join in ,enthusiastically, in their interests.  When you join in, you not only encourage their creativity, but you learn so much yourself.

I truly believe this is one of the most important ingredients in raising (or helping to raise) happy and curious children.  Happy and curious children generally grow up to be motivated , healthy adults.

  7. Teachers can help by realizing when a child could have a learning problem, instead of saying the child is lazy, doesn't care, etc.

Many times a child doesn't do their work because they CAN"T, not because they WON"T.

Teachers need to stand up for the children who need help instead of letting the administrators bully them into keeping quiet and ignoring the children.

All this goes on all across the country.

Most teachers DO want to help children, but there are SO MANY times that their bosses will not let them.

WE as parents are TAXPAYERS who are PAYING these school personnel their PAYCHECKS to HELP OUR CHILDREN,

but instead they use OUR TAX DOLLARS for lawyers and courts to FIGHT parents because they do NOT want to help the children.  These parents are PAYING the school for lawyers and court to fight against themselves !!!!!!!

They could have used all this money to help the children in the first place.

All this causes the child to have low self esteem, being teased and bullied, dropping out of school, turning to drugs and in jails.

All at the hands of the people WE pay and TRUST to help our children!!

  8. support the child's decisions (if they have thought their way through it).

  9. Parents can take an interest in homework and make sure the student does the work and quiz him in spelling words and math tables. Parents can also go to museums and zoos ect. to keep their children interested in learning. Finally parents and teachers need to communicate with each other.

  10. Parents can encourage the child to write down honestly his/her strengths and weaknesses and then very lovingly help the child to improve on the weak areas. Also a child should be a well rounded personality. While most parents teach their child to reach his academic potential by extra coaching and tuitions, they fail to realize that ultimately it is the values that the child is going to carry along with him/her. So a lot of caring, sharing and a never say die attitude can help him/her reach his/her true potential. Teachers can work with the parents to achieve this.

  11. I am a preschool teacher and here are my suggestions:  read to your child every day, let them play with play dough and have conversation with them.

  13. Always praise a job well done

    Read to them often

    Encourage good self-esteem

    Teach them honesty

    Love them unconditionally{my husband disagrees with that one}

    Discipline with consistency

These are a few of things I found very helpful as a parent.Stay in touch with your child's teacher, and never expect more than they can handle.

  14. parents and teachers very importance of all child achieves, parents encourage there all talents and teachers should do all moral support to childs..then only the child can grow up

  15. SHOW THEM THE WORLD IN WHICH THEY LIVE IN ( teach them what they really want to learn and if the parents don't like it, explain to the child why .. ).

  16. Turn off the TV and read to your child everyday! We should read to children of all ages, and spend time with your children. Be a role model and lead by example.

  17. It is a circle without end. First, the parents and the teachers come up with a plan. Then, parents support teachers...teachers support parents and so on. Soon, the child will get the idea that only his/her best will do.

  18. by teaching and showing them how to grow in life practically and theoritically

  19. Positive reinforcement always works with people, especially with children.Encourage your child by giving appreciation for things he had done well.  For things that need improvement, give constructive criticism and always ensure the child that you love him , no matter what mistakes he commits. Sometimes this is the most effective motivational method to help him achieve his potential. Tell him to believe in himself always because you do believe in him.

  20. By patience, understanding and tapping the potential of the child by encouraging the child to be at its best.
