How can they except me to make it on minimum wages?

I been working all my life and aint got nothing to show for it. I know that as a janitor I work allot harder then a lot of the people in the building there. I can see them through the window and there just sitting aound or laughing, a lot of the time. And I got a part time job but really how much can 8.50 a hour really get u? Its makeing me mad, I know black folks aint on a plantation any more but but its like im on one any ways.

Remember those people in the office have an education and went to collage. Don't get mad get an education and your pay will go up. You have no one to blame but yourself.

i know how you feel. i have to try to make it on 7 dollars an hour. i barely get the bills paid and cannot buy anything for me. i have a tiny apartment with almost no furniture, i have a college degree too just can;t find a job

Minimum wage gets you nothing. You need to go to your local junior college and try to learn a trade. You can make a comfortable living if you are willing to go into a skilled trade and work hard and smart.
