i just cam bac 2day from white water rafting on the river Gary in Scotland. i was thinkin how fun it wuz wen i thought this wood be really fun to do in ma gap year and get paid im 14 just now and live in edinburgh

In the US, we try to get as much experience on different rivers as we can, with different levels of difficulty, and take training classes in rafting, swiftwater rescue as well as whitewater kayaking, since you should be aware of all the hazards and techniques you can use to rescue yourself, your rafting customers, your gear (in that order).

I love Scottish people. anyway, you have to be able to read the river and handle stress and you have be be able to do whitewater rescue plus you have to have experience.
