How can u take out the hard disk on a ps3 ?

i took of the little pannel on the side but dont want to unscrew someting im not supposed to

its on the button if laying upwords or on the left side if the ps3 is laying on its side.

just slip the cover off. undo the tabs. and walla! there it is!

Actually, if you still have your PS3 manual, they tell you how to take out the HDD... Sony's actually ok with this, they don't mind you upgrading to a larger HDD, and in fact, tell you how to back up everything to an external USB drive so you don't lose anything.
