How can u tell a roller pigeon if it is a male of female???

cause when i go buy some at the swamp meet i cant tell

Pigeons are somewhat difficult to s*x. In very general terms, males heads are somewhat bigger and rounder, but this requires being familiar with a bunch of related birds. If females have recently laid eggs, the vent bones will be further apart on females. Because of genetics. sometimes the color will tell the s*x, but again, you have to know the birds.  The easy way is to watch the performance. Males will chase females and coo quite loudly when chasing females. Be aware, sometimes it is near impossible to tell for sure.
