How can unsubscribe from a yahoo group?

I reply to a confirmation email from Yahoo and get a response that the group does not exist, yet I still get postings.

leaving a group via e-mail still proves faulty, try:

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes
