Would you visualize it dissolving? Getting smaller and smaller?

How would you do it for a loved one?

  1. I think the secret is not a very good book to use for advice.

  2. The Secret should work.

  3. Yep. You need to visualize it "dissolving", you might say.

But you need to do more than visualize it. FEEL it leaving. KNOW that it's gone. It's far more than visualizing it gone, it must be gone in your perception.

For a loved one, picture that person getting healthier and healthier, getting tests from the doctor that respond positively. Picture yourself AS that person, feeling better and better. And feel yourself AS that person, feeling better and better.

Just so you know, cancer is nothing to play around with. Whether it's for you or a friend, that person needs to have medical treatment, though visualization, "The Secret," can help.

  4. Yes, it's been done in small clinical trials.  Find a good group near you if there is one.  If not, find a therapist who can help you with visualization.  You would visualize it getting smaller and smaller, but you also need music, suggestions, etc. from another person.

  5. I would like to take this opportunity to extend to you my sincerest thanks for your question. And I'd like to make a confession. I believe in the brilliance of conventional medicine as a nurse where is a question of live or death. And I also believe in alternative medicine{specifically power of mind} as a living proof of its benefits. by practicing it more than 30 years I was never sick. Alternative medicine can powerfully reverse, ameliorate and /or cure chronic illnesses.I believe in merging the best of both.

So, if you asked , I want to encourage you to believe from bottom of your heart that you'll succeed. No matter what others say. I'll give you even a bit of medical explanation why it works.  In cancer cases the body produces biochemicals called cancer inhibitors such as interleukin and interferon and sends these " drugs"  to the affected area, with the exact dosage and no side effects. You just have to help to body in this production by an adequate diet, peace of mind, positive thinking and so on. But powerful help you bring by creative visuaization based on fact that the mind cannot distinguish between physical reality and imagination. So one exercise of visualization you'll choose will be to increase the production of these biochemicals. Regarding your question if to visualize dissolving or smaller, I tell you that for  a while is better to visualize smaller and smaller for two reasons, To combine  the action of increased production of those substances and seeing the damaged cells smaller as a result . The second reason is because the visualization has a powerful effect and you have to pay super attention not to move a sick cell in the flow of blood.

It is enough your strong intention to be capable to help to another person no matter even the distance. I actually do it for my loved one that lives in another country in poor financial situation, after colon cancer. I do it already two years and he still lives and feels good. I'll give you this exercise.. Visualize that you breathe in pure oxygen as an Ocean of white light. From there you send this white light to enter the his/her body till sick cells, then leaving the body and taking with it these cells Do it at least once a day.

Quickly  basic tip. Try to extend by using your 5 senses

    Hope this contributes.

Good health to you and yours

  6. not sure, but I have read about cancer survivors who sucessfully used this technique. besides visualization, you might want to buy the dvd- "healing cancer from the inside out." theres a website full of testimonials , and stuff

  7. As far as all the mind body therapies go (and alternative in general) I don't think visualization is the best way to go about dealing with cancer, but I have found the following results in case studies repeated numerous times.

People were able (at the end of an imagery) to visualize where tumors were in their body which were still small enough not to be noticed by normal medical technologies.

People were able to visualize inside their brain where the spigot was for turning the blood vessels on or off that supplied their tumor and close it, which in turn caused the tumor to quickly die from a lack of blood flow. (this was my favorite example)

A lot of times cancer is caused by/linked to psychological distress (and hence goes away once this is addressed), and imagery is often an effective way of therapeutically dealing with the psychological problems which in turn was followed by a relapse.

And then of course' there's what you listed, visualizing the tumor shrinking.

If I had to do it for a loved one, I'd probably just stick at using it to deal with psychological problems, or use another method entirely.

    Hope that helps!
