  1. I don't know.

    :)

  2. Patience, generosity and humility.

You will never run out of ignorance in this world, and education is always slow, so you need to be patient, and think of the long-term benefits.

You will have to invest a lot of time and energy, with no guaranteed direct reward, therefore you need to be generous.

And you don't know everything, so that even those who you think of as ignorant might have something to teach you; but you won't be able to notice if you are not humble.

  3. The best was is to slowly chip away at their dogma by asking questions that they must contradict themselves on.  After a while it MIGHT sink in.  No guarantees.

  4. You have to use ignorance to your advantage.  Specifically, if someone does not believe something, or is unwilling to, you have to either force them (which rarely works) or trick them.  Logic won't help, it's already been tossed out the window.

  5. The carrot and the stick. Reward people for curing their ignorance, and punish them for remaining ignorant.

  6. Water is the greatest force in the world. Be like water.

  7. You battle ignorance with education and empathy training.  You teach empathy by giving it.  However, there will always be a small portion of the population that will never change no matter what they are taught.  They are hardwired that way.
