How can we calculate that how much electricity and water is consumed by an individual in a country.?

if anyone can answer plz i need it urgent. more specific,

i would like to compare the per capita income of an individual and how much water and electricity he/she is consuming.

meaning to say comparision of consumption of water & electricity with per capita of individual in a country.

  1. There are two approaches:

    Take a sample survey of consumption of electricity units (kwhrs) per household divided by the number of persons in different ares and calcualte with statistical standar error margin.

    Or, get the total electricity consumed/ supplied by utilities and total water supplied by utilities and divide these by the number of household consumers and then divide that by the average number of persons per household. This may be done for different regions/ different utilities and then another average can be done for the nation / country as a whole.
