How can we celebrate??

My husband and I have birthdays a day apart. He is a day before mine and as it turns out he has to work. So we decided to celebrate on my birthday for both of us. Well he has always done things for mine birthday and since we have been together we have always been visiting other people(places i did not know) so i have never been able to plan something just for him. We made dinner reservations at a really nice restaurant in the city. But other than that i would like to do something for him. We just moved to Philadelphia so once again i do not know the area. I was planning that the night he comes home on the actual day of his birthday I will have balloons and a cake and dinner made all by me. Any other suggestions of how I can make his birthday special? I can not drive anywhere because he has the car. Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds special enough already.

And why is it people think getting laid, walking around the house naked or dressing provocatively is 'special'? Kind of cheapens you and places you in the category of a piece of meat more than an equal partner and lover.

Stick with the dinner, balloons and the cake. Anything else you may decide is fitting I'm sure will be welcomed.

I think just time alone to celebrate each others birthdays should be enough.  After all time with ones spouse with candles and music are enough to add spark and fun to any night.

Sara- I also live in the Philadelphia area.  Fortunately, there are a lot of places within walking distance depending on what part of the city you live.  You should declare that day Naked Day.  Walk around the house naked all day and when he gets home greet him at the door naked.
