  1. First you will need to disconnect the maintenence valve on the lower shaft.  This will even out the temperature, allowing you to begin draining the pan. Turn the power lever to about 90 degrees to your left, (after disconnecting the buffer circuit of course), then begin the drain. Once this is complete, run your hand along the righter most support beam until you feel the safety cap. Unhinge the cap, then connect the actuator. Now you're in business!
