Question:

How can we get rid of bugs in our basement?

I am currently residing in a basement of a home, and there is a pest problem.

However, my Fiancee (it's her parents' home) owns a few pets- chickens, cats, and dogs- and I want to use a remedy to kill the bugs or at least ward them off, but I don't want to poison any of our pets here.

What can we use that will work? Borax?

Thanks.

  1. I've never had an indoor  bug problem whether it was fleas, moths, roaches or yellow jackets that Raid bug killer couldn't take care of.

Just evacuate your pets first. Then spray. Open the window to ventilate after ten minutes. Allow an hour, maybe a little more, to ventillate. Then you can go back in and bring the pets too. Everything will be all right.

  2. go to the store and  buy a pest bomb thing for your basement. clear the room and set it off, then come back when the can says to. tada problem gone. your welcome.

  3. Borax will work for roaches and waterbugs, if it is fleas, spiders or ticks spray ammonia(which also works in the garden and is good for the soil)Peppermint and eucalyptus keeps sugar ants away

  4. if youu go to a store, and ask them

someone will help youu with what you

should use that wont harm the animals.
