  1. I have some all natural insect spray and I spray my tree in the early spring when it starts to bloom.  Then I spray it again when the fruit appears.  Does the trick and I feel ok with the all natural spray.

  2. You can mix water and dish soap.  about ten to one ratio.  Spray your fruit and the areas around it with this mixture.  Bugs don't like it.  You can spray all over the tree if you want.

  3. You need to kill the worms so they don't become moths to lay eggs to make more worms.

and yes, you likely should spray next year.

  4. You have to prevent the infestation.  Once the worms are in the fruit, it's game over until next year.  Next year, as soon as the fruit is set, spray the trees with an insecticide using a little dish soap as a wetting agent.

  5. you go to garden stores that have stuff related with nature and you ask in the customer service for a spray for fruit trees that get insects on them

  6. This year, you probably wouldn't be able to do it, without toxic chemicals.

I run a flock of chickens in my orchard.  I don't spray a single thing on my trees, ever.  I have very nearly perfect fruit.  The chickens do a FANTASTIC job eating all the insects that might harm the fruit, even flying up into the trees, to eat bugs.

The chickens almost never take a peck of any fruit hanging in the trees, but do go nuts for any fruit that falls to the ground (they like rotted, mushy fruit).

I have apples, pears, plumbs and cherries.  I can only assume chickens would not eat the fruit on the peach trees.
