How can we get rid of this "Nanny state"?

How can we reduce the welfare, the government-sponsored hospitals that depend on the workers' wages, and stop other social services that will only encourage increased government and higher taxation? Thanks.

Maybe we can pay the nanny staters to move to Europe, a place they adore and want to emulate.  It would be worth it, even if it escalated our national debt, because within a month after their absence, we'd begin to see the returns.

Other than that, I have no clue.

The only way to do it is a gradual transition.  It will require serious educational changes because the educational system was captured by the socialists 80 years ago.  Then of course they pretended to be humanists, just like now they pretend to be progressives--anything to avoid being labeled correctly and truthfully.  Millions of Americans have been brainwashed just enough that they don't even know that socialism is essentially feudalism of the intellectuals, and that capitalism is also know as economics.  The only way to wean us from the nanny state is to recapture education and entertainment enough to move people away from their self-selected slavery and towards individual liberty.  

Unfortunately I don't think it's likely; the most common pastime in human history is fleeing liberty.  Nearly all religions, political movements and philosophies boil down to attempts to explain away the existence of free will.  They're often quite mixed up, but the underlying current is always there.  Whether you're talking absolute predestination, the Norns or Fates or evolutionary psychology, the endless attempts of human beings to pretend that we really don't have a choice--we HAVE to do those things we wanted to do anyway--is the trend more likely to win out.  How much easier to say "it's the system's fault, I'm a non-productive drone with a meaningless life because there is no meaning and anyway production is immoral."  It's always going to draw a larger crowd than responsibility, and responsibility is an essential component of freedom.  

I naturally hope that the fluke that began the United States and soon after swept through many parts of the world will happen again.  But I don't expect it.  Even though it's practically impossible I do what little I can every chance I get to preach freedom over slavery, but people LIKE slavery--it's much more comfortable than the cold hard truth.  Everyone knows deep down that they are free--that they are responsible for what they do, no matter how hard they try to pretend otherwise.  The very fact that so much effort is spent trying to prove we don't really get to choose is proof in itself that we are choosing after all, and hence are responsible for the consequences of our choices.  

Reality bites, which is why the fantasy-land of of the left will always seem like the promised land to both smart and dumb people.  The smart people get to be the bosses, the dumb people don't have to worry about anything much.  What could be better?

Federalize the Federal Reserve.

The Federal Reserve is nothing but a private, and very tight group of  rich elites. In 1921 they created the CFR(Council on Foreign Relations) in the interest of creating a New world Order. It started out being called League of Nations, which was a dismal failure but the seeds were sown.

This group has been working on this agenda throughout all these years, and it is at the point that I don't think we can stop it.

Members of the Federal reserve own over 90% of the media...newspapers, everything.

Over 90% of the people in the State Department, as well as the key positions in the executive branch are CFR members.

If you have the people in the places you need them to be, and the propaganda machine to bury, hide, or cover up everything they do, then until the whole thing crumbles, they have control.
