How can we have a birthday party for 3 friends all turning 6?

Neighbors & I have 3 kids turning 6 within 10 days of each other (2 boys & 1 girl) and are discussing a combined party. They all attend the same kindergarten, with the two boys being in one class and the girl being in another. We are trying to figure out the logistics of who invites who so there are no "gift" issues. One thought was to simply have "no gifts please" on the invitations, but that wasn't agreed upon. I'd love some ideas as we don't want anyone to feel left out. Also we thought about opening gifts later but I know the kids like to see their presents opened that they brought. Please help!

  1. HAVE SEPARATE PARTIES.................FOR EACH GIRL,   DO NOT HAVE THE PARTIES TOGETHER, YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET THAT DECISION.............

  2. 0kay- well my cousin had the same situation about 2 years ago. So ive been through it! haha! Anyway heres what we did: First off make sure there is a card that meets in the middle between boyish or girlish the children are happy. Secondly have a limit for children in the class- for example if you want it to be a medium sized party you can tell each child that they are allowed to invite maybe 10 or so friends.(Make sure the is an even number of friend for all) but since the 2 boys are in the class together maybe they can have a comprimise of who to invite. Also- write in detail on the invitations! i think you should do it this way...on the invitations to the girls friends you could write "although this is a combined birthday party with (names here) its only nessesary to bring (girls name) a present. and same for the boys so its all fair in the end! Tell your children that they just have to be patient and open the gifts after the partys over- it causes less confusion and less of a chance for fighting! Lastly- i know u didnt ask for a party idea but heres a couple::: pinata, sack race, (you should get one of those bouncy castles! the links on the bottom! the kids will LOVE it) Hope my opinion helped you!

  3. If there is an uneven number of presents perhaps ask a few guest  if they wouldn't mind if you wait till after the party to open the presents (I'd try people without kids/older kids, family would work too)
