even if we lose players, the talent coming up the Jim beam cup are just as great as the ones we are losin. dont get me wrong eventually they probley will be snapped up by rugby or English super league thats why we have to rethink the way we structure the game so we can make more money to keep players on Australian shores. rugby league will always be here in Australia i just hope we dont become a feeder comp for English super league or rugby because we play the best game in the world and develop the best players!

Your question does not make sense, All the best Aussie Rules players play here in Australia because its an Australian sport and we have the best comp in the world.

yeh i agree but its only a couple so far

but yeh, in 20 years all the good players will be gone unless nrl get rid of the salary cap

the only reason the afl doesnt have this problem is because afl is only played in australia....so i guess we are lucky there

but still, we have seen ben graham and sav rocca finish their careers early for some more dosh.....

We can't get rid of the Salary Cap. It would be too unbalanced, and clubs would break apart and collapse.

Our game will always be the best game. We have the talent, and we just have to blood the young talent.

We are still ranked No 1 in the world in rugby league, so if the day comes when we lose that crown then we should start to worry.

The NRL will end up like the  soccer, all the big guns will be overseas and the local talent will be  old has beens or young kids on the up

We have the best game. League went through a similar period in the 40's and 50's when the English rugby league was poaching our players. This turned around in the 70's and is going back again now. The only real difference is back then we poached rugby players now they are doing it.

Even with the players going overseas to rugby, and it is only three - Rooney, Gasnier and SBW, we still have some great talent here (as pointer out earlier) and some great talent coming through. Providing the game is administered better than it is now, there is no reason that we cannot continue to have the best game.
