  1. If you mean help? Volunteer at a homeless shelter..you might get a better idea.. gettingr rid of..not a thing I would propose...

  2. Get rid of them? What do you mean?

  3. How about you tell all the homeless people in the world to go get a job. Just because they are homeless does not me that they can not work. I mean thats probably why they are homeless anyway. Most people that have a job at least live in an apartment or thier friends.

  4. I have worked with the homeless before.I no longer do this because of the frustration. Not all homeless want to be homeless but unfortunately a lot of the homeless choose to be homeless. They don't want bills, responsibilities of any kind, don't want rules, and are addicted to drugs. Some of the people you see in shelters for free lunch and dinner are not even homeless. They are not needy only greedy and are there to get what they can for free.

  5. we could all take one of them into our homes

  6. Many things come to mind but I would think it needs to start with our economy being built up. There are not enough jobs for the amount of people. So as  the economy is bad the people that are working do not have enough to share and to help these people out of their situation.

  7. Do you mean "get rid" of as in euthanasia or like Hitler's plan to get rid of all of the Jews?

  8. I've been working with the homeless for the last five years.  It is not just a matter of putting a roof over someones head.  There are usually many issues involved with that indiviual.  Mental health, family breakdown, substance abuse, legal problems, and physical health issues.  These needs and issues have to be supported and stablilized to begin assiting the homeless and hopefully have them reach some sucesses.  There is a huge learning curve for some of these individuals who have a lack of fundamental life skills like paying bills, cooking, cleaning as well.  The best way to support them is to keep funding going to non profit organizations that work with this particular clientelle.  Just a side note, not all "homeless" are your stereotypical view of a bearded, dishelved man.  I work with many single mothers and children who ARE homeless as well as the elderly, through no fault of their own have experienced some tough economic times and found themselves homeless.  How many of "us normal" people are living paycheck to paycheck?  How quickly would your bills and rent add up if you were laid off?
