How can we identify the incoming and outgoing terminals in DC mill duty Contactors ?

for eg : in Cutler Hammer make DC mill duty contactor ,terminations are done at fixed contact part and moving contact part. So is it alright to connect the incoming and outgoing wires at any end or is there any criteria for the termination?

  1. You will need to identify the application and model #. There may be criteria. No answer is suitable for all DC contactors.

    Are these reversing DC contactors, non-reversing? Which termiantions are you speaking of?
