It is important to remember that intelligence comes in numerous forms. Some people are book smart, others are commonsensical, while another individual can be creative or tech savvy. It is extremely subjective, and we all are intelligent in one way or another.

However, if you are looking for ways to increase brain power (i.e. speed), statistically speaking, doing crossword puzzles, playing memorization games, and ever playing Scrabble can significantly build up more brain power. Basically, you need to challenge your brain and give it a hard workout. It is kind of like exercising, if you don't do it, your body gets lazy.  Same goes for your brain.
