How can we know when someone we add in Facebook, adds us as a friend or not?

Hi! I added a couple of people in facebook by clicking the 'add as a friend' option. After clicking that, it said 'friend requested'. A few days went by and i didn't get any notifications about anyone adding me. I went back to the person's account and saw the same option 'add as a friend'. Does that mean that that person didn't add me? Please answer!! Thank you very much for your answers!!!

it depends on how often they go to their facebook,and if they recognise you if you haven't seen them for years, just be patient if nothing happens then they obviously weren't very good friends

If they have added you go onto your account and it should say:

*whatever your name is* is now friends with *whatever their name is*
