At times everyone is faced with making a moral/ethical business decision that may have a beneficial outcome for certain group members and the decision may not be benficical for others. How can we make ethical decisions that would benefit both sides?

It's ethical and fair if you make the just decisions. Sure, only one part might benefit from that decision at this point, but all knows that it was rightly done and that they can trust you to be fair the next time, and possibly in their favor that time.
