the best way to make new friends quickly, is being comfortable with ur self.

try 2 b cool, find out the things the person u wanna b frnds with likes/ dislikes. don't boast no1 likes a bragger.

It's not easy...talking to a random stranger in the street could be productive, but how would you feel if some guy/girl came up to you and started a conversation?  It would seem a tad odd, and there's also the risk that you don't know who you're talking to.  Safer to try and get to know people by some other method first, be it as pen-pals, at work, through mutual acquaintances or, I guess, through IM services.

This day in time, I am finding that especially difficult.  My husband and I discuss this quite frequently. people are not as social as they used to be. I really do not know what to tell you. I am sure, Just as I am,that you are doing all the right things, it is just that society has become so fast and und people have no time for others anymore. Good luck!!!
