alternative fuels that dont produce emissions.    stop the production of all gasoline and diesel vehicles.    use cleaner energy.   such as solar power, wind, windmills in water, natural gas.    Stop things from emitting carbon...  if a tree is knocked or cut down, plant another.  Donate food to kids in africa...(thats irrelevant)

environment is just one of the small problems we  have

well there is so much that can be done people just dont whatnt to change there ways like veryone could wake up 10 min early and capool or ride there bike to work if they can or maby plant trees and grass recycle jsut do anything that will make the inviorment more greean and clean like did you now it is cheper to ride tark and it is helping the word maby we can come up with ne fule from corn or mab we can eventualy get cars to run on water

REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! that's it. really, and don't buy stuff when you don't know where it came from like food, chemicals that go in the sink. NO MORE SODA!!!! it's bad for you and the environment.

2. On massive coastal flooding, if there is going to be massive coastal flooding at 100% of the ice melting, why isn't there some coastal flooding with 30-40% (current) of the ice melting since 1992? Where is the proportion? (2nd link)

if everyone could to do the following everyday our world will be a much greener and less polluted environment

- turn off lights when not in use

- change car to gas (some countries give a rebate)

- turn off microwave when not in use

- when it is hot dont put your airconditioner on high

- turn your washing machine to cold wash

- use green bags not the plastic ones

- recycle reuse

Well --- assuming that GW is actually happening-- and not just a short term "blip" on a computer chart--- you CANNOT minimize it-- even the scientists say that a 70%+ reduction in CO2 emissions is needed to "stabilize" temperatures. This is impossible to achieve on a worldwide basis.
