It is heartening to note that Japanese have come up with a technology to run future cars in water. If the same technology is introduced in India, what is the technology available with us to convert the existing petrol driven cars into water driven cars.We need to reengineer our current technology, suitably modify the existing petrol/diesel driven cars/two wheelers/trucks, so that public gets maximum mileage out of it. Also cost components are to be factored in to our consideration to revamp the existing models of cars / two wheelers/trucks. It woulld be better if Government of India takes up this issue and encourage all automobile manufacturers to intensiy their R&D efforts for a good pattern/paradigm shift to develop vehicles run on water/compressed air to offer shield to the mass public.

An honest, aggressive and committed effort in this direction is needed at global level which would be real pathfinder and conducive to diffuse the current oil crisis.
