How can we people force France to repeal the ban on "religious" articles of faith?

This a controversial issue, but not just for Muslim women, as so many assume. Christians aren't allowed to wear crucifixes, Sikhs, to wear turbans, Jews, to wear yamakas. In short, students are not allowed to support their faith (silently, however) in public schools.

So, how can people force France to repeal this ban? Or should they repeal it at all?

There were massive riots in France because people wanted to show their religious pride. Cars were lit on fire, people were killed.

Perhaps responsible behaviour will make such a ban unnecassary, but relgious people made the ban a necessity to keep the peace.

Public schools should be secular and the ban should remain in place.

People are free to worship outside of public school. Their is no need to display faith in school.

France is a free country . We have as much right meddling in their internal affairs as they have meddling in ours .

Their idea is sound , and should be encouraged . The more people are identified by group , the more trouble they will have .

Students in French schools should look like Frenchmen as much as possible . If some look like Eskimos , and gather into groups , they'll be shunned by the others . This is human nature . So don't make groups , clicks , gangs , separations .

How would you feel if France tried to "force" the US to enforce such a ban of our own? Outraged, you say, that a foreign country would try to interfere in our own internal affairs? The French would feel the same way.

France is a sovereign nation with a democratically elected government, and a US ally (sort of.) Its not our business to get involved.

Incidentally, I think the ban is stupid, but at least they're enforcing for all religions.

Before you worry about how to do that perhaps you need to justify WHY you should do it. I'm not seeing it.
