  1. I'm glad you asked. :)

One thing that badly affects marine life is pollution. There are many sources and ways to pollute water, directly or indirectly. Some pollutants are things like pesticides or herbicides that are washed off of lawns and into the water. Trash can badly harm wildlife, like beer cartilages.

Water recreation also affects the wildlife. I'm from Florida so if you go near certain springs you'll see manatee signs and the like.

Be careful; what comes around goes around.

  2. Don't throw garbage in oceans and lakes.

  3. Some of the sources of surface water pollution are: combined sewer overflows (CSO), Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO), Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSO), floatables--from street litters. So, a comprehensive watershed pollution control may be needed to ensure that control from these sources.

See the EPA link below for excellent information.

  4. By outlawing fishing, boating, swimming, jet-skiing, scuba diving, water skiing, submarines, and float planes.  Would that make you happy?

  5. Stop polluting the waterways.

Stop dumping trash into the oceans.

Stop using recreational vehicles such as jet skis, motor boats, etc.

    Stop overfishing/harvesting.

  6. Take care of Mother Earth.
