  1. Well...DON'T  LOOK  AT  IT  WITH  YOUR  BARE  EYES!!!

.. "Do NOT look directly at the sun"

Try this instead.....it's cheap and works.

    You will need:

1 CARDBOARD BOX large enough to stick over your head with room to spare   [or maybe a huge box you can sit in ...that would be cool, but I haven't made one of them before].

1 SHARP POINTY THING to make a hole in your box with, like a pin or pen [ or draw a small circle and it cut out with scissors].

1 SOLAR ECLIPSE, preferably during a nice cloudless day.

What to do with your ingredients:

1] Take your box and on one side near the top poke [or cut] a small hole.

2] Stick the box on your head [or get into it] with your back,as well as the small hole, pointing towards the sun.

3] Check to see that the hole [near the top on the back side] of your box is letting in enough sunlight to make a circle of light, on the inside your box, in front of your face

[ which is on the opposite side of the box, to the small hole you made].

***If in your 'letting in light test' proves that your hole is not big enough to let in adequate light or isn't a nice circle, adjust the hole accordingly, perhaps in stages to perfect the potential eclipse watching performance.

4] Time it correctly to be inside your box when an eclipse occurs and see the shadow the moon makes over the sun by watching the circle of sunlight that is coming through the hole you made.

    WA--LAH!!!

Eyes not burnt out, vision fine and one eclipse watched if you can stand being in the box for the whole time!

That is how you can SEE an eclipse.  When one is going to occur is another question  :oD  ...you could try some astronomy websites to find out exactly when one will happen. I think the next one is a wee way off... ?

    Have fun!

  2. This website tells you about and how to view a solar eclipse and it gives lots of information

    http://www.ehow.com/how_17510_view-solar...

This website also shows you when the next solar eclipse will be also.  http://www.mcglaun.com/eclipse/ECLIPSE20...

  3. Go someplace that is scheduled to have one.  I dont think the next one is due in North America for a number of years.  They are somewhat rare, so you have to be willing to travel to see it.

  4. um hello you can't because ur eyes will get fried
