  1. Well, dedicated to the beautiful mind:  Go and visit any mall in Cairo /Alex,,even go to Rehab city,,I was shocked yesterday to see all the shop signs, name.. the ad for sales...etc only in English.. to make it worse, most of the food menus are in English only,,As I am trouble maker,, I asked the waiter r for an Arabic menu , telling him (we are the'' Arab '' Republic of Egypt- not the'' English'' republic of Egypt,,and I said simply I can not read write English...)  anyway,,As I mentioned before several time,,There is a term called ,,The culture of the Skin,,which is  language and religion,   It is  the minimum culture possessed by everyone and any one,,(poor /rich, educated, illiterate..,,,,,etc).. and this culture is so close to the human like his skin,, The culture of the skin,is also gives the difference among nations,,Simply it defines the ID ,,even the German and French are fighting hard to limit the changes in their languages to be mixed with the English,, they are fighting for their ID or lets say their culture of the skin, How someone will Love a country and  he /she lost the country ID ? anyway, that is an Introduction

Of course most of us love our country,, we may complain and whine, but in the hard time, we will fight hard to defend it (even an oldie like me),, simply because My country means my family, my friends, My house  and ME,,

Now lets review: they taught us that Islam spread by showing an ideal model of a human (by the Muslim leaders, , army, trader.) in Asia ,and other places,,Showing Good model of Humans could change the faith of others,  what do you expect?, If the older( and I mean age-wise and Position wise ,, show a good model to the young, would not they adore the country?

We loved Egypt (for Nasr) till we found the lies,,but at the start of  his era , we would throw our self to h**l to defend our country , because simply,, the leader was an ideal model.. (at least we thought that), and we were defending our dream, and also what we thought our belonging,, that was our country, (we thought that time we own every part in this country)

    lets be specific:

    1) If the leaders, the  society stars, the older in age and Position ,, look ideal  for the young,, we will sow the seeds of love in the Egyptian Young to Egypt,, actually we sow that in even the foreigners who would ask to immigrate to here...lol

2)If we respect our ID ,, if we can get rid of the occupation (yes we are occupied) ,,the new occupation concentrates on the language and the religion to gain control over people, sometimes In Business , we buy a company to to make benefit of it, but just to destroy it and get rid of the competition,, that is the case with the new occupation, they may do not care to use,Egypt as they are rich enough not  to need it,, but it is just to destroy it,, what is more destruction than letting the youth look down to their country by looking down to its culture of Skin  language and religion?? How much (hate/desperate  ) needed , to let a person sail on  a raft risking his life,,just to escape from a country..??

    3) We can not blame people , we can not sow the seeds of love, till we give them a proper life,,How can we deprive the youth , life  basics ,then ask them  to love the country.., If we do not give them anything even an aim to possess, what they are going to defend,, the factories of al aiz, or the companies of Sawiras??if they can not form a family, would we ask them to defend Dina, Elssa, ..(and those blonds who I do not even know their names)..instead suppose wives and children?

..The basic Instincts of only human , the defend of what in his/her possession,,, generally we love what we own, if we feel we own nothing in this country,, why we would love it....mesh keda wal eh?

  2. We can show our love for our country and sow the seeds of love in the young by:

Make people proud of themselves and their country. This can be done by giving extra care to win in international competitions, spread the habit of carrying our flag, remind people of their heritage and have more contact with our successful Egyptians abroad who won world's respect.

Find work for everybody. Unemployment kills the soul and depresses people. Start projects that employ people and give them hope for a good future. This gives people security and peace of mind.

Plan to export goods by being keen to produce good quality with reasonable prices. This brings home hard currency .

Spread the call for hard work and discipline. This has good results like better production, satisfaction and self confidence.

Explain to people that doing their work correctly is religious, and it reflects on them directly and indirectly.

Engage the young in camps, boys and girls scouts and fight illiteracy.

    Rewards are inspiring and encouraging.

Look around and start groups to volunteer to read newspapers to the old or buy them groceries, visit them and talk to them.

Any project that helps the people feel good about themselves at present and in the future will be reflected positively towards the cause that we are hoping for.

  3. Moonrise.. to be honest, i don't think anyone in egypt deserve it.. egyptians were nice people some day, but now the would kill each other to live.. i have been to egypt (I'm egyptian) and it was THE WORST experience in my life.. i was robbed couple of times, and of course when ever someone do u a favor.. he have to follow it by "el 7alawah ya beeh"

  4. the first step is to enhance our educational system. and make our children proud of their arabic language. because i m frustrated about the way people feel proud about their kids who cant speak arabic and can speak a number of other languages too. i don't mean not to teach foreign languages. but to teach proper formal arabic and moreover make them proud of it

also to stop imposing blond kids images in schools ads banners, we are not blond. so what is point: to feel shame about our middle-eastern looks?!!

also to unify some subjects syllabus specially Arabic, Religion, and National History. in all schools

in the same sense to apply the national anthiem and national flag salute in all schools

to try to establish a professional Egyptian kids channel instead of the american ones.. or those mindless cartoons

to encourage volunteer work and community service by schools students. for example opening ceremony of recent sports events held in cairo were performed by police soldiers not students (Unlike the old Africa 1992 which was the best opening ceremony held in Egypt ever)

in the same way encourage summer camps so students from different provinces find a way to get to know each other

also to establish a new system for schools leagues in different sports (like football, volleyball) or even doing something like school olympics annually, not in sports only but also in music, in performing arts, in writing, and so on.. and apply the concept of sholarships for those with high rankings:O)

the government has to provide more space for public parks and more free spaces for practing sports. people must have their right in enjoying their time for free.

At least people must re-gain their public property of the Nile banks.

NY central parks is a great example to look at and learn:

as result our kids will associate happy childhood experiences with urban settings of their city, and feel more belonging to the country as a whole.

    edit:

we HAVE TO change our media talk and the wide spread sarcastic attitude toward ourselves. we have to show more respect to ourselves.

Chinease people were occupied and dominated for centuries under the consequent French and Japanease ocuppation, and they suffered for the following decades to recover from that, and they NEVER made fun of themselves.

there is a statement said Mofaz explaining why israell seeks to get back her dead soldiers reminants: "The day that the state abandons its sons will be the day that the sons abandon the state," Mofaz said.

  5. UNLIKE THE OTHERS

you are talking about a Nation wide project and if no one care for it soon the future of our Young generation will be troubled

i was in a place to work on small group of people and i passed that to superiors but i do not think there are who cares

    i might suggest the follow

    1 the family

this is the biggest project and the smallest

the matter is parents now are not the parents that they should be and i think here i should only talk about family and here is a simple story to explain what do i mean

few years back i moved from one school to another and one problem was at that time with money that the secretary has issued receives to

student but the teacher did not gave her the money, she was the teacher of 1st class(kids age 6 years) the teacher claims that she lost the money .any way that was a minor problem which was solved

    A year after

the teacher of class 2 claims that money were stolen from her hand bag and that was fees money collected from students,to me the rules were obvious and clear "as long as teacher did not bring over the money so she still in charge"

it was time of just opening school and it was friday so i had to go to school ,just few minutes of my arrival a kid of 5th grade came to me he was well known to me of his low mental capabilities with no introduction he asked me if i wanted to know who stole the money so i was full of enthusiasm to know and he mentioned a name

i asked him "how do you know?" so he said that he was going to get his father some thing in the morning and he met that boy who gave him 100 shikels on piece.that i know the teacher of 2nd grade lost 300 hundred shikels and all were in twenties so simply i wanted to make sure of his story

never mind about the rest of the story but it appears to me that the same kid who is now in 2nd grade managed to steal the 300 shikels as well as 1000 shikjels while he was in grade 1

and the kid of 5th grade was saying the truth that 100 piece was given to him but as i investigate that was the year before and he himself new about the new theft so he wanted to have his share

he only came to me because he did not have any share of the new theft

    sure a long story but

how many people share quilt in this story

starting from the kids fathers reaching the school and the school programs

just to know 1000 shikels are almost 2000 egyptian pounds

    1$now is almost 3.5 shikels

    the time this took place

    1$ was 4.2 shikels

  6. that's a tricky and difficult job, because i m afraid they'll grow up and start accusing us of lying, besides there are many many grown up people who can't do that simply because they don't love this country, or confusing between the land, people and authority.

I guess teaching them the history of this country, what happened and why, where were we before and where are we now, opening their minds and imagination. Sure it will be influenced by every person's own view on things but that i think is least i can do to my children..
