How can we stop China from skinning dogs/cats alive?

This is a serious question, please no loonies.

How can we ban their imports of these items?

There is an undercover video revealing, the suffering of dogs, cats, and other animals in China's fur industry that is extreme. After spending their lives crammed together in filthy, homemade wire-mesh cages, they are thrown onto trucks and bludgeoned, poisoned, electrocuted, or even boiled alive before their skin is ripped off their bodies. Some animals in the video footage are still conscious and look up at the camera while they are skinned. (PETA)

We should all be outraged.

Such is life. Those same dogs would eat you if they were hungry, animals turn ferrel,and I agree with you that it is horrible because I have three dogs, and they are my buddies, but the world is big and we can't do much about inhumanities. We can't even stop people from being brutilized.We, you and I and all those we know were brought up in a civilized world that respects all life.The chinese are different in aspects of history, and socialized behavior, and remember, their country is thousands of yours occupied and we are barely two hundren. Only our moral christian background, or what ever belief system we stand by, causes us to be humane.

I am outraged, I just recently saw a video of raccons being skinned alive somewhere in south america.... dispicable. I understand that everyone has a need top eat, but this type of pure cruelty is jus tpathetic. I wish I had an answer for this!!!
