How can we stop hired hunters hunting and poaching animals simply for unproven so called "Eastern 'Medicine'"?

Don't we just need an indiana jones type zoologist with a large dart gun, to sort them out?

What are your own thoughts and opinions on this?

Traditions, customs, cultures and superstitions are almost impossible to break as people are very easily brainwashed.

It is highly unlikely that you will ever stop this hunting and poaching as superstitious people are willing to pay high prices for these "Eastern Medicines" that probably have no medicinal value whatever.

The culture evolution in most countries in the world is very slow and some cultures in the world don't seem to evolve or change at all.

My opinion is that it's a horrible thing to kill and/or mutilate and leave to die, any animal

just for it's spleen, or tongue,or liver, or horns, or whatever else might be in vogue, as a supposed healing agent.  The Japanese and Chinese are still using animal parts.  Most of us know the reasons why, it's the law of supply and demand.  The hunters are in poverty, the demand is high.  Who makes the big bucks?  the fence.

  We all know it should be stopped, but there simply isn't the funds to hire patrols to

safeguard all the animals.

  Right now I am heartsick because our

President might get his wish in invading

the birthing places and feeding grounds of

the few remaining wild animals we have

in the Arctic.  Why?  to drill for oil that

will cost more to get it out of the ground

than it's worth.  And when they get it, if

it's there, it would last the U.S. gas- hungry

populace just a couple of months, but then

the wildlife will be dead.  Please let your

voice be heard in opposition to ANWAR.
