  1. There is only one way - reduce it's powers - make it a small government. Read the Federalist Papers (U.S.). There is no other way, since corruption is inherent in all individuals, especially in power. the reason there is so much corporate domination is that Western governments are big. Governments side with the rich. Government and big business are inseperable partners - they mutually benefit one another. They support each others expansion.

Note: Do not join anarchist groups. What is commonly called anarchism is actually socialism in disguise. Often it is also called communism, communitariansim, libertarian socialism, natural democracy. Don't fall for it - they are solidly in line with the socialist movement and socialism is totalitarian.

The best type of activism is to educate yourself (read) and to inform others, perhaps via your own blog or website, but also people you know and in your town.

Don't get bogged in group politics. Many political groups are deceptive or misguided about their aims. Even in a good group you will waste your time with organisation, especially  disagreements, and differences of opinion on the various topics involved. The important thing is to inform yourself and others.

  2. Vote

  3. Robot Politicians.

  4. I think oabout that as well, when u find out let me know and I'll join ya.

  5. A starting point is realizing that human beings are generally corrupted by their nature. We might be good as a whole, but there will always be corrupt elements. Realizing this is the first step.

  6. Vote the incumbents in Congress out of office.  That's the only way you can stop their corruption --  temporarily.

  7. it may sound odd, but i think you have to start with the outrageous broadcasters who are so concentrated and have such a powerful influence on millions of uninformed people who are gullible and love lofty rhetoric and cheap slogans that rhyme. really, it did not start today, the conglomerates like Times Warner (CNN) enable the U.S. Congress to get away with downright traitorous behavior. The spending, borrowing and corporate welfare has amassed a $10 trillion national debt and three successive deficit annual budgets and they have the gall to take sweetheart deals from countrywide and get in on insider investment tips, to mention a couple of faults. The media destroyed nixon over the watergate burglary and that looks like a parking violation compared to today's corruption. Such massive corruption and the "news" media is free to ignore crimes and spew propaganda and confuse voters. They are protected by the inaction of the FCC and voters end up fighting amongst themselves. It is a deliberate action to create chaos and reap great rewards.

Start by busting up the media conglomerates and then cleaning up congress. McCain nor Obama has said a mumbling word on this situation. They talk about the inane hairsplitting tax structure. The refine exactly when troops might possibly be out of Iraq. They are able to obfuscate with the cooperation of the show business called "news" broadcasting. Trouble is, a majority of people fuss but take it all in. So the candidates for president nor the U.S. Congress turn it into a popularity contest and who has the most attractive wife. Cheap, useless bs.

  8. We can't stop corruption

    Thats just the plain truth

It has been going on since civilization began and we havent yet so what would really make us figure out how to now.

  9. there should be dictatorship for this purpose

  10. The only real answer is to have term limits. The founders of this country did not intend that congressmen and senators be lifetime employees. They think that once they get there they dont have to answer to the people who elected them.(and actually they dont). They do as they please because there are no limits and people just keep voting for incumbents. A perfect example is Teddy Kennedy the murdering alchoholic who has been there for 30 years. If you ask what has he done nothig short of growing the government and linning his own pockets.

  11. The Founders planned for a LIMITED government, with LIMITED power. It meant that we would have to take care of ourselves, but the concept worked and build the nation.

Now, we appear to have acquiesced to being subjects of a nanny state and huge totalitarianist bureaucracy, and must either sacrifice our individual rights or start dumping some tea overboard. The choices will become very clear after the next election. I know which side I'll be on.

  12. How about ALL the voters in this land

    look up HOUSE.GOV

and tell their Senators and Congresspeople

    We B MAD AS h**l!

Congress just may get a clue

    that the AMERICAN public is

sick and tired of dirty politics as usual!

  13. Elect new people.

  14. By going back to the Constitutional foundation of a smaller  government restricted in it's powers by law. By abiding by this principle and reducing the power and size of government you can eliminate the unwanted influences around it.

  15. I think there are too many corporate influences in Washington.  There should be no lobbying at all.  I think when someone runs for political office they should not be allowed to be associated with ANY type of business.  EVER.  For example, d**k Cheney was with Haliburton.  Now he is the VP.  He has also been on the CFR and the Trilateral Commission.  Condi Rice was on the board of Chevron, CFR, and the Secretary of State.  Peter Sutherland has been on the board at BP, Goldman Sachs, and Trilateral Commission.  It is like a web.  Most of the politicians have been on one or more of these boards, commissions, businesses.  That should not be allowed.  There is too much conflict of interest.  And that is just a sample.  I was truly shocked when I started researching this.  It is no wonder our country is in the shape it is in.

  16. term limits so we can keep cyclining in a new bunch of crooks

  17. There is only one solution to your problem.  We must vote out incumbents and put honest people in government.  People who will restrict government to it's Constitutional functions.

I would like to suggest you research ALL who are running for office, so you can work to elect the most honest ones.  You can't change anything unless you get involved. Just look at what Ron Paul did.  Maybe he didn't make it, but trust me, his supporters will make a difference in the future.  They already are.

  18. Big brother is watching you. I hear a lot of stories about people dissapearing or being threatened. They also get "hacked" into their personal lives to ruin it. Like ruining their credit or bank accounts. Tons of things!

And no one can trace the culprits....of course you can assume with good certainty who they are.

If you want to become an activist. Start with what goal you are setting. Dont try to take a big bite ro you will choke. Start small. Focus on lesser issues. Try to see online if there are any groups already following your goal and you can join them. If not, then you got to work a lot to get support from people. And business. And organizations. Unfortunately, a lot of this will have to do with money so you will need to have fundraisers.

    Good Luck on your journey!
