How can we teach children about interacting on a one to one basis,in small group andas a whole group?

  1. Introduce them to a game that requires 2 or more people to play. Talk to them after them game and let them know that they were interacting due to the fact the game required interaction in order to play.


  2. You can do different activities that puts them in small and large groups.  For one on one you can have them put a puzzle together with a partner.  Small group you can have the children help each other to make a simple recipe.  Large groups you can have sit in a circle...have a ball of yarn.  Give a child the first piece and have them hold it. they roll it to someone else until everyone is holding a part of the yarn (it makes a big web)  Remember these are only a few ideas, there are many many more.  Also always give them step by step instructions.
