  1. Fat is "burned" when your blood sugar levels fall below a threshold level.  In order to do this, you must either starve (reduce food), or get your muscles to burn off the sugars through 30 minutes of aerobic exercise.  Exercise increases the basal metabolic rate (BMR)

    The other method of burning fat is to trick your body into giving up the fat from the fat cells and juice your blood with liquid lipids.  This can be accomplished by increasing your BMR through diet or exercise.

    On the diet side, tea contains caffine.  Caffine is a poison that makes your body want to flush it out by increasing BMR.  The increased metablic rate help to burn the sugar.  There are other chemicals that will increase your metabolism, such as Chromium Picolinate.  Calium also helps convert your body fat.

Green tea  also helps you burn an extra 80 calories a day which adds up to 8lbs a year. Around 2 to 3 cups should be okay from what I know.

  5. Diet and Exercise as the old saying goes. If people wanted to lose weight so badly and try green tea, it would have worked already. Asian people would be skinny as toothpicks then if that was true, my mother drinks green tea and all sorts of tea and I don't see weight change in her!
