How can we use the group's e-mail instead of our own?

Question

When I write a meaage to the group, I have to aprove my own message and it uses my e-mail. Is there a way that I can use the group's e-mail nd not have to approve my own posts?

to fix the one, go to memebrs list- locate your ID and click edit memebrship below it- Posting Messages:    Override: This member's posts are always moderated (Edit)  <-- click the edit- select not moderated- click save changes

you have to use your own e-mail address- the group address is for incoming only

you can use the owner address if you e-mail from (eg) a hotmail account - you have the option there of using different e-mail addresses, and i've been able to add the group owner address this way.

otherwise, if you post on the group site, if you're on moderation you can edit your post to show the owner address instead of yours. it'll still have your id name, but not your e-mail address
