How can write a short creative text about Romanticism?

I really need help with my Literature homework here. Today, i've been assigned to write a short creative text using the themes about Romantic Literature. Romanticism was a 19th century intellectual movement. Romantic artists were painters,sculptors,and classical musicians as well as writers. Can anybody who knows alot about this,help me to create a short creative text about Romanticism? Any ideas of what can i write about?

Well, Romanticism is a really broad topic. To mimic the style of a romantic writer, you could write about nature, the supernatural,...talk about your feelings towards a flower or death.

Poetry was a strong force within Romantic lit, maybe you can use poetry and refer to some poets such as Longfellow and Whitman to get ideas.
