How can you Celtics fans wear Garnett Jerseys when Paul Pierce has bled his heart and soul for you for 10 year

s...I mean...Who was there when you guys won 24 games last season? and 33 games the season before that? Paul Pierce...who wasn't? Kevin Garnett

I saw two "Celtics" fans (bandwagoners) with Garnett jerseys on vacation and I just thought to myself I bet this dumbo doesn't have a Paul Pierce jersey. My cousin wanted to find out and he said he didn't.

Kevin Garnett - 78 Reg season games played for BOS and under 100 total for Boston in total (playoffs).

I mean I love Garnett...excellent shot blocker and quite possibly a top 10 center in the history of the NBA but give credit to the soldier bled his heart and soul for you for a DECADE! If you have a Garnett jersey and no Pierce, Larry Bird, Bill Russel, Bob Cousy...I'll even give you an Antoine Walker jersey, you are a Bandwagon fan. Look in the miror and tell yourself that you aren't a bandwagon fan and you will speak with uncertainty.

Well alright ill give it to you that Paul Pierce did win finals mvp. He is a hard worker who loves Boston celtics. But the reason why people wear his jersey is because he represents what plp want to see. Tall, athletic. Pierce is athletic too, but not in Garnetts class. Im a Rockets fan thou, and i only wear an old Hakeem Olajuwon jersery that my dad gave me ^_^

Also, yes, Pierce has been there for 10 yrs. BUT, he did nothing in 10 yrs.

On the other hand, Although KG did help get them a ring, he didnt do it by himself, therefore he shouldnt be getting as much credit as he is.

I'm not a Celtics fan so ignore me if you want.

The main reason why the Celtics won the championship this year is because of their defense. Offense wins games, defense wins championships. And that defense was anchored by KG's defensive presence. He plays with heart and passion, and he's a great shot blocker.

Even if Ainge did the Ray Allen trade last offseason but not the KG trade, they'd be 6th seed at best.

Who cares? At least Pierce won the finals MVP. If he saw a lot of people wearing Garnett and Allen jerseys and less of the Pierce jerseys, he wouldn't be jealous since they're already close friends and he'll just be happy for them. Also, if someone has a Garnett jersey when he was still with the Timberwolves and a Garnett jersey with the Celtics, that's not being a bandwagon fan. It's being a loyal fan to Kevin Garnett.

It pisses me off too when I see the waves of Garnett jerseys around Boston. Still, I see many true fans who've Pierce jerseys(only jersey besides Bird I saw in Boston before the trades, but plenty of them) and some other good fans who have the guts to wear a Rondo(rare) or a Perkins Jersey(extremely rare, I've only seen one to this day). If you've ever been to Boston before the trades of last offseason, you'd find Celtics supporters, but they weren't as enthusiastic or as many as they are now.
