How can you adjust an iTunes playlist so songs play in a certain order, without renaming songs?

I'm creating a playlist in iTunes, and I'd like the songs to play in a very specific order, is there a way to order them without changing their titles?

You don't need to change the name of each song in a playlist.

In the playlist, click on the header of left column (the one with numbers). Don't click on Artists, Time, Name, etc columns. You just click and drag a song to whatever order you want.

Make sure shuffle is turned off by going into Controls > Shuffle. It should NOT have a check mark next to it.

Not really.  You could put a number or a letter at the beginning of each song so that they would play in the order you wish.
