How can you alter your photos online?

Question

Is there a program that you can buy/download where you can alter how you look in photos? Like airbrushing or make you look slimmer etc? Is it photoshop? Is it expensive? Id love to play around with something like that! x

Adobe Photoshop is what you are looking for. I have used it for the past 3 or 4 years - Fantastic program - but very expensive. Check it out on Ebay you may save a lot of money!

Adobe Photoshop is a very popular one but you have to pay for it. I've downloaded a software called Picasa which i like but you can't really make yourself look slimmer but you can differ the lighting etc on it and zoom in and crop and things.

The "full" version of Photoshop is very expensive. You prob be better off trying to find someone that already owns it and let them edit the photo for you. There is a low cost version called Photoshop Elements, but I am not familiar with it.

For less expensive editing software, I like PaintShopPro from Corel. Lots of features for a reasonable price.

There are also some great FREE editing programs available. I agree strongly with the GIMP. I use it and really like it.

Google also offers a great  free program called Picasa.

For a free program, its got lots of great editing features and it also helps organize your photos.
