How can you audittion for shows on Disney Channel, The N, Nickelodeon and other places like dat?

im getting an agent and i know he/she will help me but i need a headstart and i need to know where to go and where can you get a good agent thats not a scam

usally they have only certian times where you can u like the new show HighSchool musical get in the picture they all went to california to do that but when you get a cd sponsered by nick or disney they allways have a number you can call like in vanessa hudgens for example. in the paper where they have the lyrics ....
